Been neglecting my dear blog space because the urge to blog haven't really hit me until today.Events that passed by this few weeks will be kheks bdae which just concluded yesterday, soccer with usual's at jurong east under the scorching sun and up till now the heat wave haven't really subsided yet. School's starting on Monday, I guess I'm like the only few who would be excited about it since it's better to be bored in school than bored at home I guess. HELLO, been couple of days since my last post so here goes nothing.Woke up around 10 to get ready to go meet up with the guys for the ubin trip, made my way to JE mrt to meet up with the peeps. I thought even though I was about 10 min's late, many of them would be late but it turns out the only one later than me was Joel. Soon trained to tampines, crap on the train, I believed pizza hut anywhere just don't like us because they missed one of our orders AGAIN, similar to the harbour front pizza hut outlet. Had our food and went to the interchange to take bus 29, was a pretty long bus ride to changi village. Took a bum boat from changi getty to ubin, been 2 years since I've last been there but the feeling is still as great. Made our way to rent a bike, the rental fees there got to put ALL of the bike rental shops in the mainland to shame. It was 5 BUCKS for the WHOLE day, from 2-7 would have been longer if we had decided to go earlier. Biked around the island and got followed by massive hoards of mozzies, haha. Reached the entrance to chek jawa and parked outside before going in for the walk, the sea breeze was great but the tide was pretty high so didn't get to see the corals and the crabs.Biked all around and talked loads of shit, and F1 all around ubin. Decided to go back for a drink since everyone was pretty drained, drank and the plan was to cycle to the other part but due to time and energy constraints we abandoned that plan. Sit down and rest before taking a bum boat back to changi village. Had dinner there and went to tampines mall to walk about. Before going home. It was a great day, even though the mozzies were by far the most massive, I'm glad everyone who went enjoyed it. The peeps who went were, Joel , hao, zk, wanting, alicia, ching keong and alex. Lets do it again next time but with a few more people haha. |
